I believe Finland needs a complete U-turn in the direction of its politics. Under the leadership of the right-wing government, policies have been pursued that have benefited the wealthy and large corporations. Instead, the bill for the right-wing government’s policies has been paid by ordinary Finns, the elderly, people with frequent or long-term illnesses, and child welfare clients. Next spring’s parliamentary elections will decide Finland’s new direction.
The Left Alliance is my party, because solidarity and the ability to put yourself in another person’s shoes are at the heart of everything the Left Alliance does.
In politics, you achieve the most by being persistent and courageous. Cooperation across party lines is also important in politics. No one can accomplish anything alone.
