Anna Kontula

Anna Kontula (b. 1977) is a Member of Parliament, sociologist, researcher and author living in Valkeakoski.In my view, Finland needs democracy above all else – more of it than we have now, and a bolder form of it.

The Left Alliance is my party because it has the most credible policies on climate change and inequality, and, of course, comrades who are committed to building a much better world.

In politics, you achieve the most when you have the patience and consistency to see things through.
